A Recreation Park for Families
Wind Point Park is a 300 acre heavily wooded pennisula located on Lake Tawakoni about an hour drive from Dallas, Texas. Its size
and location make Wind Point the ideal park for family reunions, church retreats, scout campouts, company parties, fishing tournaments, or just a day of fishing, swimming, and picnicking with the family.
Along with the camping facilities, Wind Point offers the following:
A 300' Lighted Fishing Pier Fish Cleaning Shelter Two Boat Ramps Electric Security Gate at Entrance Swimming Beach Playground for Children Laundry Room Gas Pump Bait and Tackle Store Nature Trails Baseball, Basketball, and Volleyball Courts Campfires Permitted Open Year Around Three Bathrooms with Hot and Cold Showers
For those who do not
wish to camp but just want to visit the park for the day,
the fee is $3.00 a vehicle and a $2.00 per person for
each person over the age of twelve years old. Day Entry Passes
are good until
7:00PM.
No
teenagers are allowed in the park
for overnight without their parents.
Children Twelve Years Old and Under are
FREE!!

Wind Point
Park closes from December 23rd at 5PM until January 2nd at 8AM every
year.
All campers must be registered
during our hours of registration and they must be in the park
by 11:00 PM. Our security gate locks at 11:00 PM. You may leave the park at
any time; however, you will not be able to re-enter until 7:00 AM.
