Wind Point has fifteen screened shelters approximately 14'x18' with louvers
on the back half of the shelter for privacy. Each shelter has electricity,
water, and a picnic table.
The shelters rent for $30.00 per night for two people and one vehicle.
For each additional person over the age of twelve years old, the
charge is $3.00 per night, and for each additional vehicle, the charge is a
$3.00 per night. There is, also, a $5.00 key deposit that is returned when
the key is brought back at checkout time. A maximum of six people and two
vehicles are allowed at each shelter. We require a one night
deposit with reservations.
Check-in time on the day of arrival is 1:00 P.M.; however, you may enter the park earlier on that day
(no extra fee) and enjoy fishing and swimming before checking into your
shelter. Checkout time on the day of departure is 12:00 Noon but you may
remain in the park until 7:00 P.M.
Camping is an outdoor experience. As such, we do not give refunds due to discomforts of nature or for early departures.
Please understand that we cannot be held responsible for weather, illness, work schedules, or other situations affecting our guests and, therefore, we enforce our cancellation policy regardless of circumstances.
Cancellation Policy for one or two shelters:
14 days or more advance notice prior to arrival date: Refund less $10.00 processing fee per shelter or funds can be applied towards future reservation. Rebooking must be within same season, for minimum nights required and can only reschedule once.
13 days or less advance notice: Forfeiture of one night deposit per shelter unless shelter is successfully rebooked and rented by other guests ($10.00 processing fee per shelter still applies if refund is applicable).
24 hrs or less advance notice and no shows: No refunds and no credits towards future reservations.
Cancellation Policy for three to fifteen shelters:

On Memorial Day and July 4th holidays, a three-day minimum stay is required
on each shelter, payable in advance.
