Wind Point's campers may choose between primitive camp sites with water in
the area or camp sites with water and electricity on each site. Whichever
they choose, most of the sites are nestled beneath oak trees along the
shoreline of Lake Tawakoni. (Be sure to click the "Photo" button
above to see a few of our tent camping areas!)
The charges for primitive camping are $15.00 a night for a tent, two
people, and one vehicle. For electric and water sites, the charges are
$20.00 a night for a tent, two people, and one vehicle. For each
additional person over the age of twelve years old with the tent, it's
$3.00 per night, and for each additional vehicle, it's $3.00 per night.
If you plan on camping on Memorial Day weekend or the July 4th holiday, it
is recommended that you arrive early at the park in order to secure the
site of your choice as we do not reserve nor hold tent sites.
