The Petra yogurt maker works by providing a controlled environment for the fermentation of milk into yogurt. First, the milk is heated to a specific temperature to kill any harmful bacteria. Then, a starter culture or a small amount of pre-made yogurt is added to the milk to introduce the beneficial bacteria needed for fermentation. The result is a creamy, tangy yogurt that can be enjoyed on its own or with added flavors and toppings. **
